Olivia Dawn & Tryangle Man
23-year-old Olivia Dawn is a violinist, singer-songwriter, DJ and producer based in London. She holds a Bachelor degree in classical violin performance from The Juilliard School in New York and two Master degrees in Contemporary Performance and Music Technology respectively from Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain.
Having studied piano and violin since she was five years old, Olivia made her solo violin concert hall debut at the age of 9 with the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra in Hong Kong and has since performed at internationally renowned venues such as the Hong Kong Cultural Center, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York. A soulful vocalist, she competed on season 2 of the Voice of China. Notable shows in 2015 include opening performances for Tedx Berklee Valencia, Tedx Fenway and the World Business Forum in Madrid. Upon her arrival at Berklee, Olivia delved into songwriting and electronic music production and within a year, she was already producing her own songs, with an EP due for release this upcoming June.
As a violinist, she has a strong technical background in classical music as well as the ability to fluidly improvise in jazz, Celtic and Arabic styles. She is featured on Zebbler Encanti Experience’s new album Inner G. As a singer-songwriter, she has written songs for many pop artists through Peer Music Publishing. Now a budding electronic music producer, Olivia combines all these facets, bringing to life her unique sound – modern European synthpop with melodic anthems, a mellow, pulsing groove and an air of cinematic suspense.
Arguably one of the most versatile talents of her generation, Olivia Dawn will continue to grow her potential as an international solo act.
25-year-old Ryan Khoury, also known as Tryangle Man, is a French-Lebanese DJ, producer and video animator based in London. He graduated from Berklee Valencia in 2015 with a Master degree in Music Production, Technology and Innovation. With 6 years of experience in music production and sound design, his talent lies in his ability to tell stories through a unique combination of music and hand-drawn computer animation. He is currently releasing music under Armin van Buuren’s label, Armada.
As a live performer, Ryan takes the persona of Tryangle Man, an elegantly mysterious cube-headed figure in a suit. Through a series of videos paired with driving, downtempo electronica, this silent, other-worldly figure takes listeners on an engaging journey through space-time as he frees mankind from mental oppression.
