Entrepreneur & Student
Alán Hensley, from Stockton, California, is a Mexican-born 23-year-old who immigrated to the United States at three years old. After overcoming an adverse upbringing in the beginning years of his life, Alán learned to find inspiration from his humble roots and apply it to his work. At the age of 14, Alán learned how to play drums and almost become the second coming of Travis Barker, but luckily for Mr. Barker, his interest was taken by the business side of music (watch out Jimmy Iovine).
Alán later secured a scholarship to the University of the Pacific where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Music Management and Marketing while studying music business under Keith Hatcheck . During his time at Pacific, Alán became a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and held many student leadership positions eventually leading to his reception of the Elizabeth Griego Outstanding Student Leadership award for his work as student body president. Today, Alán is pursuing his Master's degree in Global Entertainment and Music Business at Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus. He is a passionate DJ and holds a Vice President position for Plural Music, a Stockton-based production/promotion company he helps run alongside his colleagues from Pacific.
